About Us
The Financial Partner Your Business Has Been Missing
Most business owners are great at what they do — and exhausted by the financial side of running their company. The numbers feel overwhelming, the tax strategy feels reactive, and the books feel like a black box that only opens at year-end.
KG Virtual CFO exists to change that.
We partner with service-based businesses, coaches, consultants, agencies, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations to transform their finances from a source of stress into a strategic advantage. Whether you're building toward your first $1M, navigating the complexity of growth, or stewarding a mission-driven organization, we bring the expertise, clarity, and systems your business needs to thrive.

Meet Katishia
Katishia brings more than 20 years of accounting experience — across startups, Fortune 100 corporations, nonprofits, and religious organizations — directly to the service businesses that need it most.
Her path wasn't linear, and that's exactly what makes her perspective so valuable. Katishia has sat at the financial table in boardrooms and community halls alike. She has seen how numbers work inside large institutions and understands how those same principles — when translated into practical, accessible strategy — can transform a growing small business or mission-driven organization.
As a Profit First Certified Professional, Katishia uses a proven cash management framework to help clients take home consistent profit — not just at year-end, but every single month. Her advisory approach integrates bookkeeping, tax strategy, S-Corp structuring, and financial forecasting into one coherent plan built around each client's goals.
Her academic foundation runs deep: she holds a B.S.B.A. and M.S. in Accounting from Western New England University, along with a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Katishia is also an inaugural scholar of the Institute for the Study of the Black Christian Experience (ISBCE) and currently serves as its Director of Finance and Operations.
Beyond her client work, Katishia is an ordained minister, speaker, community organizer, and mentor in Springfield, MA — serving on Boards and Advisory Councils and tutoring students in the Springfield Public Schools. She brings the same intentionality and servant leadership to her clients that she pours into her community.
